What Is Podcasting? In its most popular form, podcasting is a way for people to selectively subscribe to audio content over the Internet. This audio content can then be automatically downloaded to a computer or mobile device, like iPod. Think of it as a radio show that you can listen to whenever and wherever you want — only it’s much more than that.

The Education Podcast Network is an effort to bring together into one place, the wide range of podcast programming that may be helpful to teachers looking for content to teach with and about, and to explore issues of teaching and learning in the 21st century.

Science Update Podcasts

Podcasting is a way for you to get the newest Science Update radio shows delivered directly and automatically to your computer, so you don't have to visit our website to download them. The name is misleading—you do not need an iPod or other MP3 player to take advantage of them. All you need is a computer and a software program called an aggregator (or, sometimes, podcatcher ). Popular aggregators include Mac's iTunes and Juice.

Radio WillowWeb

Radio WillowWeb is a podcast for kids and by kids from the students at Willowdale Elemetary School in Omaha, Nebraska. Each new show is called a Willowcast. An outstanding example of how this can be implemented at a school! Be sure to check it out!
