As a part of an Aligning Curriculum to Standards (ACTS) in Pennsylvania grant that the Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery County Intermediate Units have received from the PA Department of Education, a series of twenty-four best practices videos will be produced for use in a technology integration professional development program, Core Teaching Skills for an Information Age. A video demonstrating an outstanding example of technology integration at the elementary, middle school, and secondary level will be created to accompany each module in the program. These videos will be produced following Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching, highlighting her four domains: Planning and Preparation, The Classroom Environment, Instruction, and Professional Responsibilities. They will be used during face-to-face instruction and will stimulate discussion on technology integration. They will also be made available online to educators throughout Pennsylvania for continued reference.
